The A-League Preseason Cup game at WIN Stadium on August 2 will be a family affair for the Timpano boys.
Elder brother Jacob, 22, will be playing for Sydney FC against the Wellington Phoenix in the main game after youngest brother Matt, 20, appears for Fernhill in the curtain-raiser.
The Foxes have moved their round-20 Illawarra Premier League match against Albion Park White Eagles from Ray Robinson Field to WIN Stadium as a prelude to the A-League showpiece.
Jacob and Mark are relishing their first chance to play on the same program since their days at Holy Spirit College.
Naturally, they expect a lot of family and friends to be on hand for the games.
"I think the last time all our cousins and aunts and uncles were at WIN Stadium was when I was playing for Wollongong," Jacob said.
"It makes it a little more exciting for me because Matt's going to be playing on the same day.
"I'm more excited for Matt and Fernhill as a club that they are going to be there than I am for myself," he added.
Although Jacob hasn't played for the Foxes since the under 10s, he trained with the Towradgi-based club during the preseason and has kept tabs on their Illawarra Premier League campaign.
"The WIN Stadium surface will suit them - they are one of the Illawarra Premier League teams that play an attractive brand of football," he said.
For his part, Matt is looking forward to his first game at WIN Stadium.
Matt hasn't seen his elder brother play in the flesh for about two years, but tipped a big A-League season from him.
"Jacob's been out of action for two years, but he's played three trials already and I think he's ready," Matt said.
Matt joined the chorus of supporters who are calling on the people of the South Coast to show they want an A-League club.
"We want a decent crowd - to get a Wollongong-based team in the A-League we have to show we can get 10,000 to a game," he said.
"I think the Illawarra can produce a crowd like that - we need to prove there are enough supporters to keep a team going," Matt added.
Tickets for the A-League match are now on sale - admission for adults is $15 and it's $5 for children aged 2-16.
A football family ticket offer - 16 tickets for $150 - for Illawarra clubs is available from the WIN Entertainment Centre box office with club identification.
Corporate tickets are $60 and can only be purchased from the WIN Entertainment Centre's box office.
The corporate function will feature guest speakers and the organisers - the South Coast A-League bid - have invited Socceroos coach Pim Verbeek, Fox Sports commentator Andy Harper and SBS football doyen Les Murray to attend.
