We live in a highly sophisticated and ordered age, but we all benefit from personal reflection. Big corporate types too.
That's why we believe it's great that Lifeline is about to roll out a Good Mood Safari, a three-day workshop that will ease the minds of high-flyers and help them manage their own lives and the organisations they run.
There couldn't be a better place than the Illawarra to develop as the nation's "wellness capital". The course will take advantage of majestic spots for reflection like our beaches, the Nan Tien Buddhist temple, The Abbey at Jamberoo and the soaring Illawarra Fly.
What a great example of people using their minds to help boost other people's spirits.

IT was brilliant to see Helensburgh's Alicia McCormack win bronze at Beijing when our water polo team beat Hungary in a nail-biting shoot-out on Thursday night. Alicia, a goalkeeper, selflessly stood aside to allow the team's in-form keeper to play. But it didn't reduce the joy for Alicia an iota. She took the dais with her fellow players - and you could feel the excitement. It was the personification of team spirit - and as good as gold.
